Body temperature measurements are accurate up to 0.1°C. The standard settings are 35.0°C for the lower boundary and 37.4°C for the upper boundary. However, users can adjust the upper and lower temperature boundaries through the app.
The temperature sensor is able to make scan a body temperature within 0.5 seconds. Theentire process of scanning is less than 3 seconds (approach, scan and result). In other words,a new individual can be scanned every 3 seconds
GateDoc can last up to 20 hours on stand-by mode. It can do up to 1.000 scans on one charge. GateDoc can also be connected to direct current, through which it will scan as long as is required.
For IOS users, download our app here. For Android users, download our app here.
The app allows you to connect to multiple devices. This is especially useful for facilities with multiple entrances or at highly crowded events. Connect up to 5 devices per phone.
GateDoc is primarily designed to monitor body temperatures of visitors and staff. In most countries, it is permitted to do such monitoring and ask visitors and staff to cooperate. However, please check the law and regulations of your local government.
GateDoc gives facility managers and owners the possibility to increase safety measures by enabling the photo capturing function when abnormal temperatures are detected. We provide security and monitoring stickers that we highly recommend you display at your entrance. Again, please also check the law and regulations of your local government.
GateDoc has CE marking and a 1-year standard factory warranty.
Our device is able to withstand light weather conditions but will not perform optimal in the heavy rain (IP42). We recommend to always perform temperature measurements indoors or underneath a cover.
No we don’t claim to cure COVID19. We are there to provide a tool to business owners, facility managers and security people to stay in control more easily.
A regular infrared temperature sensor is used to measure the temperature of the forehead.
No this is not dangerous, but please don’t shine it in your eye for too long. If the GateDoc is not adjusted to the proper height. Ask the person, responsible for GateDoc at your area, to help you.
We all have to deal with the consequences. We think we should do everything we can to stay safe and make sure we can go back to normal again.
You can hold a different body part in front of the sensor and GateDoc will measure this too. The thing is that, scanning your forehead, is officially recognized by the FDA as an approved method to measure your body temperature.
If GateDoc measures your body temperature and it is too high, (meaning 37.5˚C or higher),the GateDoc will give a sound signal and shows red light. This indicates that you shouldn’t enter the area. If the owner of the GateDoc unlocked the privacy mode, which means that there is no privacy mode active, GateDoc will make a picture of you and send this to the app that is connected to the GateDoc. Is privacy mode is turned on, no picture will be taken, the person connected with their phone to the GateDoc will only get a notice of the GateDoc device, time, date and temperature.
If privacy mode is turned off on your device, a picture will be taken of the person that has a higher body temperature than 37.4˚C. The picture will be send to the App that is connected to the GateDoc. The picture will also be stored in the cloud server of the GateDoc. In this cloud server all photo’s will be deleted after 28 days of storage. If you want your picture to be deleted before the 28th day of storage, ask the owner of the GateDoc if he/she can delete your picture. The owner of the GateDoc will take this up further, through the App of GateDoc.
Basically, the only reason why a picture is taken, is to inform the owner of the facility about your abnormal body temperature, which could potentially be a risk for everybody in the area. The picture will be sent (encrypted) to the app that is connected to the GateDoc. Here the owner/responsible person of the facility can see the picture. Other than that, that picture is being stored for 28 days in the cloud server and will be automatically erased after that. We don’t want your picture. We want to ensure a safe environment.
Yes, we will automatically delete every picture after 28 days. The data will be stored on cloud servers in the right countries/areas. The owner of the facility has the responsibility to enable or disable the privacy mode and will therefore also be responsible to handle the information with care. We do not own your name or any other personal information. This can never be linked to the pictures.
